When 
picked Dust Man for one of our sketch challenges, I just knew I had to do something different. I really didn't know what, until I was googling references and stumbled across the good ol' Ruby Spears redesign. Not quite as ridiculous as Air Man, but still pretty out there.
I loved that show growing up, even if it was so inaccurate.

That's a theme with the majority of these guys. They're redesigned to look more robotic or something, and the only ones I know of who were kept as-is are Quick Man and his hilarious "I had a great fall" face and Heat Man.
